EXHIBITIONS & PUBLICATIONS:

1996 Mr. Larson and his wife moved from IN. to Westcliffe, CO. into a wind/solar/generator powered Swedish cordwood/post and beam style log house designed and constructed primarily by the artist. However, for the first time in nearly 30 years there was no Studio for the artist to work in. With Art-equipment in storage he began construction alone in Nov., shortly after moving. In Jan. 1997 with the first floor weathered-in using 50% recycled wood and only a floor (no roof) on the second level equipment was transferred out of rented storage and placed under tarpaulin on the ground level. While seeking employment in Pueblo as a 's first gallery. Web-pages can be viewed at Decorative.
Unfortunately, shortly after moving to Pueblo, CO. we experienced a very hostile reception from the locals in the neighborhood...after being vandalized regularly for nearly a year and having the window of my truck shot-out (the bullet is still lodged in the frame) we put the property up for sale. After selling it five times with written contracts which defaulted and moving myself in and out of our mountain property 4 times we were finally able to move back into our mountain property. Thankfully, 2 years after we moved to Pueblo because we couldn't get a phone-line installed the phone company sold for the 4th time and they installed a phone which has made life and communication with the world possible from our remote location.
One consequence of such upheaval for so many years since moving to CO. you will note in my record of exhibits and in the reduced number of "current" artwork produced. Now that I am settled again and have internet access to manage my website I will be seeking (for the first time in 35 yrs.) an Art Agent to represent me. If you are a successful Artists agent and read this and have looked at my work and want to discuss representing me, please contact me.
