#024_25-Oil Paint on
Substrate, w5 ft. x h4 ft.
"White Iris"©
These large white flowers with gray backgrounds were painted at the
request of the Interior Designer for the G.O.G. Country Club to hang in
the wedding banquet room at the club. |
|

|
#001_1-Oil-Paint on Substrate,
w4 ft. x h4 ft.
"White Roses"©
The owner of the club did not want colors of flowers in the paintings to
clash with dresses at different weddings, hence the monochromatic theme. |

#035_36-Oil-Paint on
Substrate, w5 ft. x h4 ft.
"White Orchid"©
Backgrounds of these paintings were pewter paint which gave them a slight metallic
glow. |

#016_16-Oil-Paint on
Substrate, w4 ft. x h4 ft.
"Pink Peonies & Bud"©
This first experiment for the G.O.G. "white flower series" was
rejected in favor of the "monochromatic white & gray" shades
shown above. Painting is now in a private collection. |

#002_2-Oil-Paint on Substrate,
w3 ft. x h4 ft.
"Two Purple Columbines"©
This painting and the one below it were painted with palette-knife
at the request of the Interior Designer for the G.O.G Country Club to hang
in a small dining room just off the main dining room.

#003_3-Oil-Paint on Substrate,
w3 ft. x h4 ft.
"Three Purple Columbines"©
As mentioned above, also painted with palette-knife. An interesting
fact: because of the request by the Interior Designer for the Country
Club, this group of floral paintings is unique, representing the first
time I had painted subjects "larger-than-life-sized". |
